Clucking Cajun Fire Chicken Skillet

Clucking Cajun Fire Chicken Skillet

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 150-200 grams each)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 120 ml Clucking Cajun Fire sauce
  • 120 ml chicken stock
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Cook the Chicken:
    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Vegetables:
    • In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until they start to soften and brown slightly, about 5 minutes.
    • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Simmer with Sauce:
    • Return the chicken to the skillet. Pour in the Clucking Cajun Fire sauce and chicken stock.
    • Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet. Let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has slightly thickened.
  5. Serve:
    • Garnish the dish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
    • Serve hot, ideally over a bed of steamed rice or with a side of crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.

This recipe delivers a perfectly spiced, flavorful meal using your Clucking Cajun Fire sauce, ideal for a cosy dinner for two. Enjoy the blend of heat and rich flavours!
